Relaxed Concert by the Adult Orchestra

The Adult Orchestras are pleased to present their first relaxed concert, thoughtfully designed to welcome and support Nelson’s neurodiverse community.

This inclusive performance will feature a selection of orchestral favourites, including Pachelbel’s Canon in D, the finale of Beethoven’s 5th Symphony, and a movement from Mendelssohn’s Reformation. The concert will conclude with a joyful selection of seven well-loved Christmas carols.

In a relaxed concert setting, adjustments are made to create a more accessible and comfortable environment: the lighting remains on, doors stay open, and audience members are welcome to move around, make noise, or use headphones as needed.
