About the Concert
We are delighted to have violinist Lara Hall join us as soloist in Wieniawski's second violin concerto - one of the most popular violin concertos of the Romantic era and memorable for its lush melodies and harmonies. Bookended by David Farquar's delightful work from 1957 - Ring around the Moon and Borodin's 'Heroic' second symphony.
There will be a pre-concert talk at 1.45pm followed by the performance at 2.30pm.
